About
DOLPHINTON HOUSE

Scotland is celebrated for its rich heritage, breathtaking landscapes and world-famous whisky. Dolphinton House takes its name from a historic Scottish estate with a longstanding connection to the Mackenzie family.

Located in the countryside between the Scottish Borders and South Lanarkshire, Dolphinton has a history reaching back centuries. The estate was held by the Brown family for generations before Kenneth Mackenzie succeeded to the Dolphinton estate through marriage in 1755, establishing the Mackenzie family's connection with the property.

The Mackenzie family subsequently developed the estate, and in the early 1880s built a new manor house—Dolphinton House. The house became part of the landscape and history of the estate, which included surrounding lands and properties such as Kippit and Meadowhead.

It is this history that lies behind the name Dolphinton House. More than simply a reference to Scotland, the name connects the spirit to a particular place and to a family whose history became intertwined with the estate over generations.

Dolphinton House takes that heritage as its inspiration while deliberately looking forward. 95% award-winning gin and 5% Scotch whisky bring together two distinctive traditions in a spirit created around balance, character and complexity.

The result is smooth and elegant, with the refined character of award-winning gin complemented by the subtle depth of Scotch whisky—created for those who appreciate exceptional craftsmanship and enjoy discovering something genuinely different.

Crafted in Germany, inspired by Scotland and rooted in a name with history, Dolphinton House brings together heritage and contemporary craftsmanship in a spirit distinctly its own.
